Land on the Peninsula grows back fast. A lot left alone for a few seasons fills in with pine saplings, sweetgum, greenbrier, and thick underbrush. Our land clearing service takes that growth out in a planned order, so you end up with open, workable ground instead of a torn-up site.
Delmarva land is flat, sandy, and often wet. Low spots hold water after heavy rain, the water table sits close to the surface in many areas, and plenty of properties border marsh, ditches, or tidal creeks. Clearing that kind of ground takes more care than running a machine through the woods.
Many clearing jobs are part of a bigger plan. If you’d rather keep the ground intact, forestry mulching may be the better fit. We also offer tree work and stump grinding for single trees, and excavation and grading to get cleared land ready to build on.
Our Google reviews come from property owners who hired us to work on their land. See what they have to say, then give us a call to talk through your own clearing project.

My wife and I had Alex, owner/operator do several projects for us and have already talked with about another project in the Fall. I couldn’t say enough great things about him. We recently moved into the area and obtained his contact information from a neighbor. He was prompt, had great prices and always went over and above on each project. Alex is completely trustworthy, personable, honest and the hardest working young man I’ve dealt with in a while. You can’t go wrong hiring him for any type of work. Mark & Joyce M. (Crisfield, MD)
Answers to the questions we hear most often from property owners planning a clearing project.
It depends on the size of the area, how dense the growth is, and how wet the ground is. Smaller residential lots usually move quickly, while larger stretches of wooded acreage take more time. We give you a realistic timeline after we review the property.
Yes. We offer stump grinding, so stumps can be taken care of during the clearing work instead of being left in the ground to cause problems during grading or construction.
That depends on where the property sits and how much you plan to clear. Land near tidal waters, wetlands, or larger forested areas may be covered by Chesapeake Bay Critical Area or forest conservation rules. Your county planning office has the final word, and we’re glad to share what we see on site.
Absolutely. Selective clearing is common, especially on homesites where owners want shade or a natural buffer from the road. Show us the trees you want to keep, and we’ll clear around them.
