Heavy-Duty Brush Cutting for Fields, Lots, and Edges

Regular mowers aren’t built for waist-high growth, woody stems, or rough ground. Our brush cutting equipment handles the thick material that stalls out a lawn tractor, and it’s a practical choice for property owners who need a big area knocked down quickly.

WHY IT MATTERS ・ STAYING AHEAD OF REGROWTH

Why Regular Brush Cutting Pays Off

The warm, humid summers on the Eastern Shore mean vegetation grows quickly. Once saplings and woody vines take hold in an open area, a simple mowing job turns into a full clearing project. Staying on top of it is the cheaper route.

If saplings and small trees have already moved in, forestry mulching grinds down woody growth that a brush cutter can’t. For land that needs to be opened up completely, take a look at our land clearing service.

My wife and I had Alex, owner/operator do several projects for us and have already talked with about another project in the Fall. I couldn’t say enough great things about him. We recently moved into the area and obtained his contact information from a neighbor. He was prompt, had great prices and always went over and above on each project. Alex is completely trustworthy, personable, honest and the hardest working young man I’ve dealt with in a while. You can’t go wrong hiring him for any type of work. Mark & Joyce M. (Crisfield, MD)

Brush Cutting FAQs

Quick answers for property owners planning to cut back overgrown land.

What's the difference between brush cutting and mowing?

Mowing is for lawns and short grass. Brush cutting uses heavier equipment built to cut through tall, thick growth, weeds, and woody stems that a standard mower can’t handle.

In most cases, yes. Our equipment is built for rough terrain. If an area is too soft after heavy rain, we’ll plan the work for when the ground firms up so we don’t leave ruts.

Cut vegetation is usually left in place as a light layer that breaks down naturally. If you need the area cleaned up further, let us know when you request your quote.

Many landowners schedule cutting once or twice a year, often in early summer and late fall. The right timing depends on how fast your property grows back and how you plan to use it.

Brush cutting handles weeds, tall grass, briars, and thin woody stems. Once saplings get thicker, forestry mulching or land clearing is usually the better tool. We’ll tell you which one fits your property when we come out.

Our home base is in Crisfield, MD. From there we cut fields and lots around the Delmarva Peninsula, including Crisfield, Princess Anne, and Salisbury. Not sure if you’re in range? Ring us at 443-783-6222.
